Coaxial Cables

Coaxial cable carries RF, television, satellite, CCTV and communications signals while its concentric construction helps shield the signal conductor from external interference. Different cable types are designed for specific impedances, frequency ranges, transmission distances and installation environments.

Our range includes 75-ohm RG6, RG11 and RG59 cable for television, satellite and video applications, together with 50-ohm low-loss cable for compatible RF and communications systems. Options include quad-shield, tri-shield, flooded, Siamese and low-loss constructions in a selection of reel and box lengths.

Cable selection should be based on system impedance, operating frequency, cable-run distance, connector compatibility and installation environment. A 50-ohm cable should not be treated as interchangeable with a 75-ohm television or satellite cable simply because both use coaxial construction.
