Alcad CF-711 High Gain 47dB Distribution Amplifier

The CF-711 is a broadband distribution amplifier for terrestrial TV. It amplifies the return path, has a gain control and slope control. Unit is powered by a built-in switch mode power supply. The input and output test points permit the checking and adjustment of the installation without having to disconnect the TV signal.

Applications:

Used as a distribution amplifier in large buildings, community installations or cable networks. These installations commonly have long cable runs which attenuate and unbalance the signal, as the channels with higher frequencies attenuate more. The distribution amplifier compensates for this loss with the equalizer (slope) control and amplifying the channels while adding as little noise as possible.

Characteristics:

Made from Zamak and galvanized plate for maximum shielding. Amplifier has separate housing for the power supply unit and the RF circuit. F type connectors located on the lower part of unit help with the installation.
