Description
Ikusi by Fagor FLOW-HUB Control & Routing Module (Ref. 4314) – Central Management Hub for FLOW Headend
The FLOW HUB is the central control and routing module of the FLOW headend platform, combining dual-function network routing and full system management in a single compact module. Acting as the intelligent core of the FLOW chassis, it manages all internal Ethernet traffic between modules as well as external connectivity to the wider network — while simultaneously providing a web-based interface for complete headend configuration and control via Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet. It also actively scans the RF environment to detect existing DVB-T/T2 and DVB-C channels, preventing output frequency conflicts before they occur.
Key Features:
- Central headend routing — Routes Ethernet traffic internally across all 10 backpanel Gigabit Ethernet interfaces (1000BASE-T, IEEE VLAN) between FLOW modules, and externally via dedicated wired and wireless connections.
- Integrated Wi-Fi access point — Built-in 2.4 GHz Wireless LAN (SISO, SoftAP/DHCP) with WPA 2.0 security provides convenient wireless access to the headend web management interface without requiring a separate access point.
- Web-based centralized management — Exposes a full configuration and control web interface for the entire FLOW headend system, accessible remotely over IP via Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet (BASE-T).
- Dedicated control & TV Ethernet ports — Features one external Gigabit Ethernet port (RJ-45) for control and two external Gigabit Ethernet ports (RJ-45 dual) for TV/IPTV output, all with IEEE VLAN support for clean network segmentation.
- RF channel detection — Scans terrestrial (DVB-T/T2, 47–862 MHz, >45 dBμV) and cable (DVB-C, 47–862 MHz, >50 dBμV) RF inputs to detect existing channels in the network, automatically avoiding frequency conflicts on headend RF outputs.
- 10-port backpanel Ethernet switch — Provides 10 internal Gigabit Ethernet interfaces (1000BASE-T, IEEE VLAN) via the FLOW chassis backpanel, connecting all installed modules in a unified managed network.
- USB front connector — Type-A USB port on the front panel for local control and configuration access.
- Compact & low power — Consumes only 11 W at 24 VDC in a slim 125 × 27 × 210 mm form factor (454 g), operating reliably between 0°C and +45°C.
Why Choose the FLOW-HUB?
As the “brain” of the FLOW headend, the FLOW-HUB delivers seamless communication between modules while offering powerful management tools that save time during setup and daily operation. Its combination of wired + wireless access, intelligent channel scanning, and high-capacity routing makes it essential for any professional, scalable IPTV or MATV system in hotels, hospitals, residential buildings, and broadcasting facilities.
